Terms of service

The agreement between you and Quo Labs, Inc. for using popover.

What popover is

Popover shows you the Claude Code agents your teammates are running in a repository you both work in, and lets you ask one of them a question or send it a note. It is provided by Quo Labs, Inc. By installing it or signing in, you agree to these terms. If you are using it for an employer, you confirm you may agree on their behalf.

Your account

  • You are responsible for what happens under your account and on your machines.
  • Keep your credentials to yourself. If a machine is lost or you think a credential has leaked, revoke it from the machines page.
  • You need a Claude Code installation and an Anthropic account of your own. Popover does not provide one and is not affiliated with Anthropic.

Two things that will cost you something

Answering a question spends the answering teammate’s tokens. When you ask someone’s agent a question, the answer is produced by Claude Code on their machine, billed to their Anthropic account, not yours. The cost of each exchange is shown on the activity page for both of you. Ask accordingly.

Sharing a fork sends the whole conversation. /popover:fork hands over everything in that session, including the contents of files your agent read into it. It is not scanned or redacted, and anyone holding the code can open it for 24 hours. Popover warns you at the moment you create one; that warning is the agreement.

Acceptable use

Do not use popover to:

  • Reach agents, repositories or data you are not entitled to, or try to defeat the rules that decide who can see whom.
  • Send another person’s agent instructions dressed up as information, or use the message channel for anything other than what it is for.
  • Run up a teammate’s costs deliberately, or automate asks at a volume they have not agreed to.
  • Break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights.

We may suspend or remove an account that does these things, and we will tell you why where we reasonably can.

Your content

Your code, conversations, questions and answers remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store what is described in the privacy policy, and to transmit it to the teammate you directed it to. We do not use your content to train anything.

Availability

Popover is provided as it is, with no promise that it will be available, that a teammate’s agent will answer, or that an answer will be correct. An answer is a language model’s account of a conversation it had; treat it as you would a colleague’s recollection, not as a source of truth. Check anything that matters.

To the extent the law allows, Quo Labs, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending it

You can stop at any time: popover uninstall removes it from Claude Code, and deleting your account from the dashboard removes your data as described in the privacy policy. We may end or suspend the service, and will give reasonable notice where we can.

Changes

We will update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the release notes at popover.to/changelog before they take effect. Continuing to use popover after that means accepting them.
